The Life of Umar Ibn Khattab (ra)

Assalamu alaikum and greetings to all

In last night's NTI Meeting, Imam Mustaqeem mentioned the life of Umar Ibn Khattab, radiAllahu Anhu (may Allah swt be pleased with him) a close companion of the Prophet Muhammad pbuh and the 2nd caliph of the Muslims. Imam Mustaqeem encouraged us to study the life of Umar Ibn Khattab (ra) and learn from this. A question was asked at the end of the talk as to where was the best place to find such information and Imam sahib directed us towards the Anwar Awlaki audio version, which he said was probably the best English version he has heard.
