                                     Womens Tajweed Summer Workshops

12 weeks block that covers all the major topics

If you have been meaning to improve your ability to recite Qur’aan for years and cannot find an avenue, now we have packaged it for you. Finding effective teachers in tajweed that have the practical skills and experience to teach can be a problem that these workshops will overcome. Unlike some of us you will not be required to travel abroad. Previous evaluations and outcomes of the workshops demonstrate effectiveness. The workshops are for people who are hard working, for personal development of your Qur’an reading, but particularly important if you are teaching children or adults.

The block will consist of theory – made easy though! And in bite size nuggets that are easily understood and applied. The theory sessions will include an in depth look at the Makhaarij; the correct point of articulation to enable correct pronunciation. Then we will progress cover the Siffaat; which is the different characteristics of the letters, in additional too all other key topics that are required for correct recitation.

Who should come.

  • Adult sisters beginners, intermediate and refreshers.
  • Teachers: In madrasa or community adult education teaching Tajweed.

These workshops are limited to only 15 spaces.

Timings.

Options are either Thursday or Sunday evenings between 8pm to 9.30pm. Theory for 30 min and practical for one hour onwards.

Salaam, I am really interested, however the travel from Perth could be tricky at that time of night.  I was wondering if there is any way a similar course could be organised in Dundee, insha'Allah.
