Before performing prayer, have you ever thought....

 As you listen to the call to prayer (Azaan)
That The Superb Potentate Is Inviting you to meet HIM in the ‘prayer’!!! 

And as you make ablution

That you are preparing to meet The KING of Kings!! 

 And as you go to the mosque

That you are accepting the Invitation of The Greatest, The Owner of the Throne; The Glorious!! 

And as you make the first takbeer

That you are entering a state of monologue with Your Lord; The All-Hearing; The All-Knowing!! 

And as you read Surat Al-Fatiha in prayer

That you are in a very private dialogue with Your Creator; The All-Powerful; The Most Firm!! 

And as you perform the prayer’s rituals

That there are numbers known only by Allah of angels, some of whom are bowing, and others are prostrating for thousands of years until the sky resounded by their prayer!! 

And as you are prostrating

That the greatest and most beautiful place for a human being is to be close to His Lord The One and Only!! 

And as you terminate your prayer with tasleem

That you are burning with longing to the next meeting with The Most Merciful; The All-Merciful!

Longing to Allah and longing to meet HIM! 

Is the breeze that caress the heart to eliminate the heat of this worldly life!

 If you ever feel frustrated or sad, always repeat:

(لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك أني كنت من الظالمين)

(La illaha illa anta subhaanak inny kuntu mina-zzalimeen)

As it is a cure of the heart, a light in the dark and repeating it erases your sins!

May Allah save the face of the reader from Hellfire!!
