Please all advise if these monthly meetings are still necessary or not. There has been little or not turnout over the past 3 months.  I will take the lead from the feedback.

Jazaka Allah Kheir

Salaam,

For me personally from a social aspect no, as insha' Allah I really look forward to coming to Dundee and then popping around to see you all for a cuppa and chat more often. Plus once we have our living room back in order, taking a little longer than expected I really want you all to come round for dinner, insha'Allah, this is before the big move.

From an educational point of view, there has been quite a few adhoc things going on alhamdulillah, such as the deceased buriel training, there is islamic awareness week coming up 1st March with talks, there is also Friday halaqa and tajweed classes, there was the arabic classes at Al makhtoum. I think there is help there if people really want it and can give the time for it and there are people who are willing to help. Although I am always interested if there are any adhoc educational events occuring so good to keep these going, insha'Allah.

This doesn't mean things may not change in future as maybe some new converts will come along who do need help but we can deal with this and their needs as and when this arises. As long as we make known to the community ourselves as points of contact if they wish to get in touch and alhamdulillah I think this happens more now as people direct new converts towards other converts they know. Even making people aware of this website to interact.  At the moment however, turnout is low or non existent so perhaps not a need for these meetings at moment. Maybe even the day and time doesn't suit?

The low turnout isn't just for the new muslims meetings but also for ladies tajweed on Sunday therefore this has been put on hold as the teachers were turning up and noone there. So people willing to help but no turnout.

These are just my thoughts, everyone else may feel differently.

P.S. There was no turnout on Saturday
