Assalamu alaikum/Greetings
As part of our  Eid celebrations, members of our group went to The Village Curry House for an Eid Dinner on Monday 8th Dec 08.
The food was lovely and all had a great time mashAllah, however the spirit of Eid is of course to spend time with family and those who are close, so we all enjoyed each other’s company on this special evening. These help to build and strengthen the bonds of brother/sisterhood and help to make the Day of Eid special for those who are perhaps quite new to Islam.
Special thanks also go to the anonymous individual who made a generous donation towards the bill for the meal – May Allah swt reward you for your kindness.
Special thanks also go to Br Javed who had joined our dinner party – A gentleman had become ill and collapsed in the restaurant whilst we were there. Br Javed is a doctor mashAllah and quickly tended to the gentleman until he was comfortable and the ambulance arrived. Sisters Vanessa and Khadijah Zouaui were also very kind and assisted by calling the ambulance and offering a jacket to support the man’s head – May Allah swt reward all for your kindness and compassion. We hope the gentleman has made a full recovery insha’Allah.
A big thank you and JazakAllahu Khairan to all who came for spending your time and sharing your company on this special day. May Allah swt accept our efforts and give excellent guidance to us all – Ameen!
