Assalamu Alaykum

Found this at my doctor's this morning and thought it was really good and worth sharing with you :

If A child lives with criticism She learns to condemn,  If A child lives with hostility, He learns to fight If A child lives with ridicule, She learns to be shy If, A child lives with shame, He learns to feel guilt If A child lives with tolerance, She learns to be patient If A child lives with encouragement, He learns confidence If, A child lives with praise, She learns to appreciate If A child lives with fairness, He learns justice If, A child lives with security, She learns to have faith If, A child lives with approval. He learns to like himself If A child lives with acceptance, And friendship, he or she learns To find love in the world

....I think there is not much else to say after it ..Smile

Salam

Gwen

Masha'Allah I just came

Masha'Allah I just came across this great thread!

It also tells you that if a child is raised in an islamic envirement, he learns to be a good muslim, and the otherway arround, if a child is raised in a non-islamic envirement, how can we expect him/her to be a good mulim in the future.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "No babe is born but upon Fitra (as a Muslim). It is his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian
or a Polytheist." (Sahih Muslim, Book 033,
Number 6426).

It is our duty to try to estabish an islamic envirement for our kids, at least in our homes, teach them how to pray , take them to the mosque, teach them charity through zakat, teach them patience through Fasting..and so on...

And Insha'Allah the future generation will be as bright , successful and faithful just like the first generation of Sahabah Masha'Allah!
