Painting the Glasgow Central Mosque 

Place : Glasgow Central Mosque, Mosque Avenue , Gorbals Glasgow  G51

Time : 12.00 noon Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th April 2008

Event : Painting the Mental gates, and railings which are on the perimeter walls surrounding the Central Mosque. Also down down pipes and lampposts, as required.

Volunteers Required:  Please avoid bringing young children as we are working with chemicals, and machinery.

Dress: please come prepared; do not wear your Sunday best,  

Materials: Painters sheets, rags, steel wool, wire brushes, sandpaper, scrappers, paint brushes and rollers.     

 Equipment: ladders, trestles and safe standing apparatus.  Extension leads  

Machinery: Generators, electric sander, grinders and drills.    

Manpower: volunteers required, come and therap your soul.

Weather: We have no control over the West of Scotland weather; therefore the event will be adjourned if the weather dictates this.
