NTI Meeting - Wed 30 April 08

ASALAMUALAIKUM/HI.....

Hope you are keeping well Inshallah..(God willing)

Our next meeting will take place on... Wednesday 30' April 08

Venue: 31, ARLINGTON STREET (Just off WOODLANDS RD)

(NEAREST UNDERGROUND, ST Georges Cross)

Time: 7.30pm to 9.30pm

This Meeting is open to All Member's And Non Member's Welcome!

New to Islam (NTI) Is a new group which aims to help and support new muslims or converts to Islam, and anyone who has an interest or simply wishes to know more about this beautiful faith.

We are based in and around Glasgow.

All Brothers and Sisters Welcome (Men and Women)

The group also Welcomes interest from Muslim's who wish to learn the basics in neutral,friendly,informal atmosphere.

We have regular meetings,activities,classes and intend to begin having practical workshops on prayer etc, but we also plan to have some fun along the way inshallah

Hi There,

I would love to come along to these classes, I am just very nervous about coming alone. Is it possible to come with a friend or family member?

Thanks for your post. You would be very welcome to come to any of our meetings, and of course your friends or family members can come along as well.

Please don't worry, it is normal to feel a wee bit nervous about something new. Our meetings are quite informal and very friendly, and we have a mix of people, some who have been muslim for a few years, some for a few months, some very new sisters who have just became muslims, and some non muslims as well.

If it helps, I went to the stall today and spoke to a few of them and they are really, really nice people!! They are so friendly! Altho i am still nervous about going on my own!

Hi everyone!!

Honestly, i know how you all feel!! I came to my first class alone and i was VERY nervous!! I almost didnt go! But i am so glad i did. The sisters are so lovely mashallah, and i have made so many good friends!! Please dont be nervous about coming alone, everyone is very friendly and welcoming.
